On the evening of December 6, 2014, in Houston, Tx, Robbie passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family members. She was born on January 14, 1936 in Del Rio, Tx. to William and Florence Hayes. She was a former piano teacher and church organist as well as a great collector of sea shells and fossils.
Robbie was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Moore, daughter, Virginia Leigh Collins, son-in-law, Michael Collins, brother, Bill Hayes, and half-brother George Langton. She is survived by her daughter and spouse, Donna and Alan Cherry, granddaughters and spouses, Amanda and Justin Simon, Teresa and Chris Stoughton, and Alexandra Cherry plus 3 great grandchildren, Hailey and Nicholas Stoughton and Kenner Simon.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 1pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1101 Antoine Dr., Houston Tx. Reception immediately following the service.
