Linda Troxler Evans went to be with the Lord on November 30, 2018. She was born on January 12, 1950 in Del Rio, Texas to Esther and Toussaint Edward Troxler. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, teacher and friend who will be missed.

She is survived by her husband of almost 48 years, Bill Evans; her sister Lavon Mosher; her sons, Lonnie, Lee and Aaron; and her grandchildren, Elin, Emily Brody, Andrew and Grant.

She graduated from Southwest Texas State University and The University of Texas-San Antonio. She positively influenced the lives of thousands of students as a teacher at Samuel Clemens High School, Incarnate Word High School and Health Careers High School.

A memorial service and reciting of the rosary will be held at St Brigid Catholic Church on Tuesday December 4th at 4:00 PM. Linda believed so strongly in the mission of Health Careers High School and respected the efforts and achievements of its students to the point that the Evans Family has opted to establish the "Linda Evans Scholarship Fund". Your donations to this fund will serve to keep her memory alive and continue to encourage Health Careers High School students to strive for excellence in all the right ways and for all the right reasons.
