C.O. Beauford, or "Owen" as he as known to family and friends, Class of 1953 passed away in his sleep on Saturday, December 26th, 2009, after a short illness. Owen as born in Del Rio, TX on November 3, 1935. He played football at Del Rio High from 1949-1953 and married his high school sweetheart, Shirley Murray. They were married for 56 years and had three children and lived in Corpus Christi and Katy, TX.
A grave-side internment of his ashes will take place on Janaury 15th, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Westlawn Cemetery in Del Rio, TX. In lieu of flowers, the amily asks that donations be made to the Autism Society in memory of Owen Beauford.
