Carl Edwin Yoas, Jr. passed away October 28th at age 92. He moved to Lake Palestine from Marble Falls in 2013.
Carl, a fourth generation Del Rioan, was born to Carl Edwin, Sr. and Ruby King Yoas, June 10, 1926. His maternal grandparents were Reverend J. T. King and wife Ola. Paternal grandparents were John Philip Yoas and wife Dora. Carl’s early years were spent on ranches in Carta Valley and Big Bend. For Carl to attend school his parents settled on Sycamore Creek Ranch near Del Rio.
