Carol Ann Easley (Class of 1956) Obituary

 

CAROL  ANN  EASLEY

    Carol Ann Easley, age 80, of Brady, Texas passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 at her residence in Brady.  Carol was born August 8, 1938 in Millsap, Texas to Paul Arthur Tanksley and Frieda Louise (Littlefield) Tanksley.  She graduated from Del Rio High School and attended the University of Texas where she graduated with a degree in education.  She married William A. Easley, III on December 22, 1962.  Carol and Bill lived in Houston and Denver for many years before retiring and moving to Brady in July of 2012.  Carol was active in the community with the McCulloch County Helping Hands.  She also enjoyed playing bridge and played with numerous bridge clubs.  She loved golfing, knitting, cooking, needlepoint and spending time with her family.  She was an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Brady.

    A memorial service for Carol Ann Easley will be held on September 1, 2019 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Brady.  Inurnment of Carol’s cremated remains will follow at St. Paul’s Columbarium, located next to the church.  Friends may view Carol’s Memorial Video Tribute and/or sign the online memorial guest book at www.leatherwoodmemorialchapels.com.

   Carol is survived by her loving husband of over 56 years, William A. “Bill” Easley, III, of Brady, Texas; daughter Leslie Brown and husband Joel of Seattle, Washington; sister Linda Roesler and husband Alvin of Placid, Texas; grandchildren Kendall Ann Brown and Cameron Thomas Brown; four nephews, 1 niece and numerous great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Ben Paul Tanksley.  Memorial contributions in memory of Carol Ann Easley may be made to McCulloch County Helping Hands, P.
