Charles T. Kelley, age 85 passed away peacefully surrounded by family and long-term caregivers on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 here in Del Rio. Charles was born on March 6, 1933 in Del Rio to parents Claud and Odessa Kelley.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents Claud and Odessa Kelley and his grandson, David Joel Kelley, Jr.
Family members left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 64 years Yvonne Kelley; daughter, Mary Lou Richardson and husband Andy of Del Rio; sons: David Joel Kelley Sr. and wife Alma of Del Rio, Andy Kelley and wife Carrol of Midland, TX., Harry Kelley and wife Beverly of La Luz, NM., Steven Charles Kelley Sr. of Del Rio; grandchildren: Wesley, Bonnie, Gilbert, Monica, Robert, Juan, Andrew Angie, Shelly, Graydon, Phillip, Rachel, Steven Jr., Alyx and Brad. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday 2:00 - 5.00 PM at G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Westlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be all grandsons. Honorary Pallbearer will be Gus Smith.
