Clyde Sellers, Jr., 85 passed away November 10, 2008, in Del
Rio, Texas. He was born and raised on the ranch in Val
Verde and attended Del Rio Schools. His parents were Clyde
and Winnie Sellers. He attended the University of Texas where
he met and married his wonderful wife D. V. They were 58
years. She preceded him in death in 2000. They made their
home in Del Rio and had ranching interests in Val Verde and
Kinney counties. They raised three children in Del Rio. They
are son; Jimmy Sellers and wife Katherine; daughters; Toni
Arledge and her husband Stanley and Dorothy Estes and her
husband Jimmy; also Clyde has eight grandchildren, who are
Buck Sellers and wife Jolene, Anne Sellers, Winnie Sellers,
Erin Shaw, Tucker Shaw, Harlan Arledge and wife Kelly, J. R.
Estes and wife Carol and Bryan Estes; also nine great-grand-
children; Cheyanne, Colton and Colby Sellers, Braxton Bradley, Cameron, Conner and Canon Arledge and Matthew
and Andrew Estes.
The family thanks Edna Herbert, Maria Correa and Luz Perez
for all their love and support and constant care. Their services
are so appreciated.
Vistations will be Tuesday, 5:00PM - 9:00PM, November 11, 2008 at G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The
family will receive friends from 5-7PM. A graveside service
celebration will be Wednesday, 11AM, November 12th at
Westlawn Cemetery with the Reverend Richard Young
officiating following with interment.
