Florence Marshall Major, age 82, entered into rest on December 12, 2009, in Del Rio, Texas. She was born July 4, 1927 in Del Rio, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband Rufus “Jack” Major and Claude Draper, and Parents Gilbert C. Marshall and Mayce A. Earwood Marshall.
Left to cherish her memory are her son’s: Marshall Major and wife Brenda, John Draper and wife Cheryl, and Sam Draper and wife Julie. Daughter, Kathryn Tevington, Brother Gilbert G. Marshall and wife Ancelyn. Grandchildren: Christian Tevington, Michael Tevington, Mary Tevington, Stephanie Bryant and husband Shawn, Kevin Major, Tom Draper and wife Kim. Great-Grandchildren: Adrien Bryant, Drayden Bryant, Kirby Draper. Numerous Nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 14, 2009, 5:00pm-9:00pm, Family will receive friends from 6:00pm-8:00pm, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 1:00pm, First United Methodist Church. 100 Spring St, Del Rio, Texas.
Interment to follow at WestLawn Cemetery.
