Frank Robert Centilli Sr., 86, went to the Lord on November 4, 2011. He was born June 23, 1925 in Del Rio, Texas. He is survived by his wife: Elizabeth Julia Centilli of Del Rio, TX; daughter: Mary Elizabeth and her husband Steve Carnevale of Grapevine, TX; sons: Frank R. Centilli Jr. and his wife Josie, of Del Rio, TX, David Wayne Centilli and his wife Susan of Louisville, TX and Donald Patrick Centilli of Hurst, TX; brothers: John Douglas Centilli of Waxahachie, TX, Gerald Wayne Centilli of Penning, TX and Patrick Henry Centilli of Canon Lake, TX; grandchildren: Frank R. Centilli III and wife Elsa, Joshua Allen Centilli and wife Nynell, Paul Edward Centilli, Hope Ester and husband Ryan Dunlap, Shara Julia and husband Kim Gardner and Marissa Elizabeth and husband Jeff Boyd, Kayla Brooke Centilli, Anthony Michael Carnevale and Joseph Steven Carnevale.
Great-grandchildren: Frank R. Centilli IV, Robbie Marie Centilli, Grayson Dunlap, Ross, Kaleb, Alanna, Logan, Brady Gardner, Madelynn Boyd and Karen and Kenya. Frank was preceded in death by his parents: Floryan and Mary Centilli; sister: Florine Brown; brothers William D. Centilli and Floryan Centilli Jr.
Frank served in the U.S Army in the Quarter Master Corps in the Korean War for 2 years. After his tour of duty, he was a postal clerk with the U.S Postal Service retiring after almost 40 years of service. During this time he also was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for over 50 years serving in many ministries for the congregation. He also enjoyed serving as Post Commander of the VFW.
Visitations will be Sunday, 5-9:00P.M, November 6, 2001 at G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary vigil at 7:00P.M. Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, 9:00 A.M, November 7, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jim Fischler, CICM officiating. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
