George Bernard Vernor, 80, of Brackettville died on Aug. 8, 2020, at The Veranda Assisted Living in Uvalde.
He was born on Nov. 1, 1939, in San Antonio to Vivian Pearl (Pearson) and George Beall Vernor.
He is survived by his son, Billy Zack Vernor and wife, Jaime, of Missouri City; two sisters, Virginia Vernor Gleason and Etta Marie Vernor Pannell Harrison, both of Uvalde; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Madeline Joyce Vernor Marlin.
