JAIME ROBLES PANIAGUA - DRHS CLASS OF 1971
Jaime Robles Paniagua, age 56, entered into rest July 30, 2009 in Kerrville, Texas. He was born April 30, 1953 in Del Rio, Texas. He served in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his father, Arturo Paniagua Sr., Grandparents Victor and Feliz Paniagua, G.V. and Esperanza Robles.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother: Esperanza Robles Paniagua,. Sisters: Lisa Alfaro and husband Ruben Alfaro Jr. of Del Rio, Texas, Janet P. Lopez and husband Amador of Buda, Texas,. Brothers: Arturo Paniagua Jr. of Del Rio, Texas, Javier Paniagua and wife Amelia of Brady, Texas. Nephews: Arturo Paniagua III and wife Veronica, Rudy Paniagua. Nieces: Sonia Garza and husband Paul, Erica Paniagua, and Aliseana Lopez. Great-Nephews: Rudy F. Paniagua and Caleb Garza. Great-Nieces: Daphne Paniagua and Sophia Paniagua.
He was and Educator and was well known in the Community for tutoring in Math for students of all grade levels. He enjoyed reading and was past president of the Val Verde County Library.
Gentleman left with the honor as serving as pallbearers: Lee Worley, Donato Rodriguez III, Joel Solis, Joe Frausto, Jr., Arturo Paniagua III, Rudy Paniagua. Honorary Pallbearers; Antonio Najera, Donato Rodriguez Jr., Jim Donovan and William Quiñones.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 31, 2009 from 5:00pm-9:00pm, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 1, 2009, 10:00am, St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery. Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #595.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Val Verde County Library.
