LEONARD BODE
GRANBURY — Leonard Bode, 87, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 in Granbury. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015, in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery.
Leonard was born Feb. 11, 1928 in Del Rio to Phillip and Violet Kennedy Bode. He graduated from Del Rio High School and served in the Texas National Guard. Leonard married Alma Marie Davee Feb. 15, 1952 in Brackettville. He retired from Del Rio Water Dept. and had lived in Granbury since 2001. Leonard enjoyed building bird houses and wind chimes. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; sisters, Ann, Gayle and Marjorie; and brothers, Phillip and Robert.
