Lorne Robertson passed away in San Antonio on February 8, 2013. He was born on July 2, 1936 at Coleman, Texas. He is survived by his brother Fred Robertson, of Springfield, Virginia; nephew: Will Robertson of Roswell, Georgia; nephew: Eric Robertson of Austin, Texas; and nephew: Rob Robertson of Fairfax Station, Virginia; and their families.
He graduated from Del Rio High School in 1955 and he was a teacher in Del Rio for 15 years after which he lived and worked in San Antonio.
On Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 10:00 am there will be a graveside service for the interment of Lorne Robertson at the Masonic cemetery in Del Rio, Texas. The Rev. John C. Fritts will officiate the ceremony.
