LOWELL WARNER SAILSBURY, JR.

 

Memorial Services for Lowell Warner Sailsbury, Jr., 71, of Roaring Springs, will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Faith Fellowship Church in Matador with Pastor Chad Lawrence officiating. Mr. Sailsbury passed from this life on November 13, 2016 in Crosbyton. Warner was born on February 7, 1945 in Lubbock to Lowell Warner Sailsbury, Sr. and Mari Emery (Anderson) Sailsbury. Warner was a tool maker, industrial engineer and an inventor. He invented an automatic popcorn ball maker that he got a patent for, Warner’s wire which is a deer cleaning tool, and he made some parts for the space shuttle. Warner loved motorcycles. His first ride was given to him by Buddy Holly when he was 12 years old. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 25 years, Virginia Sailsbury of the home, his children; Deidra McPhail and husband Mikey of Georgetown, Scott Sailsbury and wife Shanan of Parker, CO., Danny Rangel and husband Carlos of Shallowater, Chris Vann of Aurora, CO., and Amy Garrett and husband Scott of Fort Worth, six grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way, his siblings; Danny Sailsbury and wife Sheila, Zan Murphrey, Stefani McGehee and husband Larry, and Kevin Sailsbury. He is preceded in death by his parents; Lowell Warner Sailsbury Sr, and Mari Sailsbury Emery and his first wife, Shelley Martin Sailsbury. Memorial donations can be made to Faith Fellowship Church.
