what great admiration so many Del Rioans have for the whole San Miguei family. They were my schoolmates, and later I worked a short time at the News-Herald with both Oscar and Joe. They are modern day immigrants like in the days of old, who came here, pledged alligiance, and grabbed the American dream! They became contributing members of society. Oscar will be missed. ~charlene (mclaughlin) reams mannning
