The Texas Pride band is composed mostly of alumni or those married to alumni. In fact the Texas Pride band played good country-dance music at the All Class Reunion in October 2009.

Texas Pride has released a new Cd entitled “Turning Back the Clock,” the country and western album features the musical talents of Bo, Zeke, Karl, Mike, Bud Nelson, Davis Rivas and Manny Pagan.
Band members stated: “This album is dedicated to our families, friends, and everyone who knows the Texas Pride Band. To one and all, our heart felt thanks for your continuous love and support. We hope that as you listen to these songs it will bring back a fond memory and maybe a smile or two. Country music has been a huge part of our lives and we love it."
The band, which has opened for country/western artists Asleep at the Wheel, covers a number of songs on its newest album including oldies such as "Silver Wings," "Faded Love," "Lukenbach Texas" and "Amarillo by Morning" along with 14 other classic tracks.
"We do it for the fun," said Hutto.
"Get ready to have a boot stompin', hand clappin' good time," Hutto said.
