Anita Rose Vickers, 74, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Spanish Meadows Nursing Home in Katy, Texas. Anita was born November 20, 1936 in Red River County, Texas to Herman C. and Willie Mae Moore. Anita was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Harrel Franklin Vickers, and daughter Lisa Renee Vickers. Anita is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carla & Randy Field of Bryan, her granddaughter, Andrea Leigh Field, also of Bryan, sister Theresa Dalke of El Paso, numerous nephews and nieces, her long time friend and personal care giver, Cecilia Hernandez of El Paso and many close friends.
