Barbara Joan Brubaker, 78, died Friday, July 11, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas. Barbara Joan Reagan was born November 9, 1935 in Del Rio, Texas to James Milton Reagan and Jesse Mary Knight. Raised in Del Rio, Barbara graduated from Del Rio High School in 1953. On March 6, 1954 she married Walter Glen Brubaker in Del Rio. She was a stay at home mother who took great pride in raising her four children. She loved playing the piano, decorating for holidays and special occasions and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her father James Milton Reagan and her mother Jesse Mary Reagan. Survivors include her husband Walter Glenn Brubaker of San Antonio, TX, her son James Walter Brubaker and his wife Carol Ann Brubaker of Round Rock, TX, her daughter Linda Kay Butler and her husband Patrick Butler of San Antonio, TX, her daughter Janet Lee Westphal and her husband Robert Westphal of Spring Branch, TX, and her son John Wesley Brubaker of San Antonio, TX. She had 5 granddaughters - Christie Butler of Corpus Christi, TX, Victoria Schmalhorst of San Antonio, TX, Tiffany Brubaker of Aurora, CO, Rochelle Ricks of Spring Branch, TX and Amber Ricks of San Antonio, TX.
