John Benjamin McGonagill, 82, entered eternal rest on June 26, 2011 passing away at his home in Del Rio, Texas. He was born February 18, 1929 in McCullough County, Texas. He is survived by his wife Betty Jean Bennett McGonagill; daughters: Hope Richardson, Rebecca McGonagill and Bonnie McGonagill; sons: Howard Henley and Mike McGonagill; sisters: Olive Mae Turner and Virginia Davis; brothers: Oscar, Glenn, George, Gordan, Tommy and Walter McGonagill.
J.B. and his wife Betty were owners of Betty's Ranch House on Avenue F now Veteran's Blvd for many years. J.B. was a proud Veteran serving in the Korean War with the U. S. Navy.
Memorial Chapel service will be on Wednesday, 10:00A.M, June 29, 2011 at G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Gerald L. Prather, Chaplain, Maj. Gen., USAF (Ret.) officiating.
