Jerry Herman Richter

Jerry Herman Richter, age 75, passed away Wednesday, Sept 4, 2014 at his home in Del Rio, Texas. He was born May 20, 1939 in Brady, Texas to Herman J. Richter and Elsie L Richter. He had an older brother, Roy Lee Richter. Jerry was married to Teda Richter for 38 years until she passed away in 2007. Jerry is survived by his daughter JJ Nisula; son, Russ Richter; son-in-law, James Nisula, and grandsons, Dax and Luke Nisula. Jerry graduated from Del Rio High School in 1957. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Western College (UTEP) and he completed his graduate degree at the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. Jerry will always be remembered as a kind and gentle soul. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at the First United Methodist Church on Monday, 1:00 PM, 8 September, 2014.
