Ruby Charlene Edgerton, beloved wife & sister, born February 2, 1937 to Charles & Ruby Mogelin in Del Rio, Texas; passed from her earthly life January 17, 2010 in her home in Crosby, Texas with her loving husband by her side. Ruby has been a resident of the Crosby are for the past forty-six years. Ruby loved sewing, to go hunting & fishing, playing volleyball and just being outdoors, but most off she loved spending time with her family and friends, who considered her as a person who was always very energetic and determined in everything she did and always made a friend were ever she went. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Ruby Mogelin; sons, Joseph Charles Edgerton & Bobby Dale Edgerton; and daughter, Sandra Lee Edgerton. She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Robert A. Edgerton; sister, Charlotte Bishop; brother, Charles Paul Mogelin & wife Betty; and numerous family & friends. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 21, 2010 from 5-8PM at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, TX 77562. Funeral Services are Friday, January 22, 2010 at 11 AM at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Crosby, Texas.
