Obituary for William E."Bill" Barefield
William Eldridge Barefield, of Jacksboro, Texas was born on June 18, 1935 to Elon Eldridge and Kathleen Mary (Plampin) Barefield in Waco, Texas. He passed away on Saturday March 5, 2016. He was 80 years old.
Bill married Audrey Nerita Till on July 21, 1956 in Richland Springs, Texas. He was a US Army Veteran and was a retired Agriculture Salesman. He faithfully attended First Baptist Church.
Bill didn’t just live life, he enjoyed life. Whether it was family, life-long friends, or a new acquaintance, he truly cherished time spent with others. His faith, hard work, and strong character was witnessed by all who knew him. Bill, Mr. B, Dad, and Papaw will be dearly missed
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Among those who will cherish his memory include his wife Nerita of Jacksboro; his daughter Jenilynn Lewis and husband Greg of Jacksboro; son Wade Barefield and wife Sharla of Georgetown, Texas; grandchildren Landon Lewis, Bailey Barefield and Brody Barefield; sister Mary Elizabeth Van Geem and husband Neil of Fort Worth, Texas and many other extended family members and friends.
