Elizabeth E. Herbst, 87, passed away June 17, 2016 at local hospital in Del Rio, Texas. She was born August 9, 1928 in San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by her daughters: Carolyn N. Baker, Edna Kay Day (Tom) and LuAnna H. Miles; brother in-law: Dr. L.H. Taylor; grandchildren: David Baker (Misty), Rachel Day (Chad), Page Day (Tammy), David A Miles and partner Patrick K. Murtagh; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was married to Max Page Herbst in October 1946. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ and a Charter member of the Mignonette Garden Club. She loved chocolate, cheeseburgers and driving her Buick. She was preceded in death by her husband Max Page Herbst in 2006 and her sister: Edna Taylor. A Graveside service will be celebrated at the Masonic cemetery on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 10:00A.M, with Tommy Taylor presiding.
