Jimmy F. Bradley, an Eagle Scout of 1960, a Del Rio High Alumni (Wildcats) of 1961 and Southwest Texas State University (Texas State University) Class of 1967, will be inducted into the Bobcat Hall of Fame.
Bradley will join former resident Richard Castro into the Hall.
Several Alumni have asked that we post the “she/he said comments” on the site that were generated from ‘your’ Wildcat site as email, prior to the Reunion.
Oh, by the way some, well probably all of the below comments are adlibbed.
The story line is based on a German couple, in their early 20's, with one son, heading to Fredericksburg, Texas in the year 1858, on the ship Independence. It lightly touches on their voyage, but more so on their wagon travel from Glaveston, Texas to the small parcel of land they purchased in the Hill Country of Texas.
The Old Del Rio High School, during the reign of the Wildcats, was located on Griner Street. The first class year to graduate from this school was the Class of 1932….a mere 77 years ago!
